การวิจัยครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.) ศึกษาระดับความคิดเห็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อภาวะผู้นำและภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 2.) ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล 3.) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิ์เลือกตั้งที่อาศัยอยู่ในตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 384 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียวและการถดถอยพหุ
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ในภาพรวมเห็นด้วยอยู่ในระดับมาก ความคิดเห็นต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ที่ประชาชนต้องการในภาพรวมมีภาวะผู้นำอยู่ในระดับมาก
2. ประชาชนที่มีอายุแตกต่างกันมีความคิดเห็นต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ซึ่งเป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ ส่วนประชาชนที่เพศ ระดับการศึกษา รายได้ อาชีพ แตกต่างกันมีความคิดเห็นต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ แตกต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญ ไม่เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้
3. ปัจจัยด้านการสร้างวิสัยทัศน์ ด้านการสร้างบารมี ด้านการคำนึงถึงเอกบุคคล ด้านการกระตุ้นปัญญา และด้านการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจมีผลเชิงบวกต่อภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ่อหลวง อำเภอฮอด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติซึ่งเป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้

ABSTRACT This quantitative research aimed to 1) study the level of opinion towards factors affecting the leadership and leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province, 2) compare the opinion towards the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province based on individual factors, and 3) study the factors correlated with the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor , Hot District, Chiang Mai Province. The research population included 384 voters living in Bo Luang Subdistrict Municipality, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province. A research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistical tools were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The research findings were as follows: 1. The overall opinion towards factors affecting the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province was at high level; and the opinion towards the desirable leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province was at high level. 2. People from different age were correlated with the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province with a statistical significance, which was consistent the hypothesis. However, people from different gender, educational background, income and occupation were uncorrelated with the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province without a statistical significance, which was inconsistent the hypothesis. 3. The factors of leadership including building a vision, creating charisma, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation and inspirational motivation were positively correlated with the leadership of Bo Luang Subdistrict’s mayor, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province with a statistical significance, which was consistent the hypothesis.
