วัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัยเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน 2) ศึกษาระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน 3) ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และ 4)ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมกับการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 379 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอย
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในภาพรวม เห็นด้วยอยู่ในระดับมาก
2. การมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในภาพรวม มีส่วนร่วมอยู่ในระดับมาก
3. เปรียบเทียบการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การศึกษา เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา รายได้ และอาชีพที่แตกต่างกันการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน แตกต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
4.ความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมกับการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัจจัยอำนาจในการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมของการมีส่วนร่วม และปัจจัยโครงสร้างของช่องทางในการเข้ามามีส่วนร่วม สามารถอธิบายการเปลี่ยนแปลงของการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและหมอกควันในตำบลแม่ยวม อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ได้ร้อยละ 47.8

ABSTRACT This research aimed to 1) study the factors influencing community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province; 2) examine the level of community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province; 3) compare community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province, based on individual factors; and 4) investigate the relationship between factors influencing participation and community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province. The sample group comprised 379 individuals. Data was collected using questionnaires as the primary tool, and statistical analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis. The research findings were as follows: 1. The factors influencing community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province, were found to be generally high. 2. The overall level of community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province, was found to be high. 3. In the comparison of community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog based on individual factors including education, gender, age, income, and occupation, no statistically significant differences were observed at the 0.05 significance level. 4. The relationship between factors influencing participation and community participation indicated that empowerment factors and structural factors contributing to engagement explained changes in community participation in preventing and mitigating forest fire and smog in Mae Yaum Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province, accounting for 47.8%.
